"Academic study of Vulcan philosophy studied by the Species 8472 imitating Valerie Archer in order to learn about humanoid species."
-Plays on your shape-shifter OR species 8472. It gains the skill Mindmeld and may use any card specifically requiring a Vulcan. OR Downloads one Vulcan Mindmeld and/or Vulcan Nerve Pinch to your hand.

"The crew of the USS Voyager found a flower much like the Earth cypridium, an orchid also known as the Lady's slipper or Moccassin flower, on a planet in the Delta quadrant. Such duplication isn't that uncommon."
-Plays on table. While in play, you may exchange any Flowers, Chrysanthemum Solution, Drought Tree or Clematis Set-Back in your hand with any copy of these cards from outside the game. OR Download Gardening Tips and discard event.

"Members of the Sisko family often enjoyed walks through Audubon Park, a nature preserve located in New Orleans on Earth. Were all such places as survivable."
-Plays on table. When any player goes through all the dilemmas at one mission location in a single mission attempt without any of that player's personnel being stopped, killed or captured, player does not score bonus points from those dilemmas. (Immune to Kevin Uxbridge.)

"Starship protective skin designed to vaporize under weapons fire, thereby dissipitating energy and protecting the ship's systems inside."
-Plays on any unique ship (for free on USS Defiant). If damaged, all weapons targeting that ship are halved.

A[9] Academy Range Officer, Event
"Starfleet officer in charge of the Academy Flight Range, located near Saturn."
-Plays on any Solar System location. All Youth at that location have an extra level of the Navigation skill. Also, all Solar System Spans are considered one less for you, and one more for your opponent.

A[14] Accelerometer, Event, 
"Instrument used to measure the direction and amount of velocity change."
-Seeds or plays on table. If opponent gains more than 60 points on one mission attempt, and you are behind in points, victory conditions now require a total of 120 points. (Immune to Kevin Uxbridge.)

-Plays on any non-Borg ship. While in play, no Objective may be played (or placed on) this ship or any of the personnel aboard unless 2 opposing Tal Shiar, Obsidian Order, FCA, Section 31, Founders or Klingon Intelligence in play at same spaceline location.

"Device used to enhance sleep in humanoids, but only meant for occasional use. Kajada once told Dr. Bashir she was having difficulty sleeping so she used an alpha-wave inducer."
-Plays on table if you have any cards under Nightmare. While in play, Nightmare is reversed (you use its game text against your opponent). Also, nullifies REM Fatigue Hallucinations if anyone encounters it, discarding event in the process.

-Plays on any  or  mission requiring SCIENCE. You may report one SCIENCE-classification personnel per affiliation plus any number of  SCIENCE-classification personnel for free to this location. They may mix and cooperate here and mission is worth an extra 5 points.

"Insect population known for its frenetic activity. The share a collective group mind that allows them absolutely no rest.
-Plays on table. When any Borg scout a planet location, normal scouting rules are suspended while entire crew of scouting ship must beam down together and face dilemmas as a larger Away Team.

-Play on any Hypospray. Prevents your personnel present from being stunned in the next personnel battle. Hypospray may do nothing else during battle. When battle ends, discard Event.

"21st-century Earth has to resort to such now-outdated substances as glucajen to treat hypoglycema, something modern medecine has done away with."
-Plays on any spaceline location until any new  card is reported, played or encountered. All MEDICAL requirements at this location are doubled.

That card either replaces the other or must be played immediately. Discard Event when Aphasia Device is discarded.

"The Entanian Order of the Delta quadrant invaded other worlds by simulating natural catastophes like asteroid bombardment. The natives evacuated, and the Entanians took over."
-Plays on your  ship. It may attack land-based facilities and landed ships once for every asteroid field on spaceline. Opponent may not consider this an attack and cannot retaliate. Then, discard event. (Not duplicatable.)

A+[49] Autonomous Regeneration Sequencer, Event, 
"Borg device originally taken from Species 259 that automatically replicates Borg circuitry disabled by non-Borg means. Makes de-assimilation very difficult."
-Plays on table. While in play, cards you assimilated that are killed or destroyed go into your discard pile, not your opponent's. They remain assimilated if redrawn.

"A computer control subroutine that allowed for precise timing in the firing of ship-mounted phasers. It can be used to target specific ships systems during battles."
-Plays on opponent's ship present with yours. Reduce to 5 any of its attributes lower than your ship's WEAPONS (counts as damage). Discard Event.

"The guidance and navigational relay aboard a ship acts as its auto-pilot, allowing the craft to be flown by personnel in manual navigation."
-Plays on your ship. Even empty or unstaffed, it may move up to its entire RANGE each turn. If staffed, ship gains Navigation.

"A medical instrument in use aboard starships and facilities used for wound closures."
-Plays on table. Suspends the effects of Gaps in Normal Space, Black Hole and Subspace Warp Rift, leaving their spans intact.

"Bioelectric device of Borg origin, believed to be some type of neuroprocessor. It extends the range and sensitivity of the hive mind."
-Plays on table. While in play, each Hive extends to two adjacent spaceline locations, its center corresponding with the location with the most Borg personnel.

"Legendary ancient city on planet bajor that disappeared some 20,000 years ago. Bajoran archeologists searched for it for millennia until the Emissary uncovered its ruins."
-Play on Bajor if no facility there. Once per turn, you may report one Bajoran VIP here. While in play, Artifacts you play as Event cards play for free. Discard if any facility ever built here.

B[5] B'Nar, Event, Countdown: 4
"Talarian mourning ritual. A rhythmic high-pitched wail expressed for hours at a time. The Talarian boys rescued by the Enterprise-D in 2367 made the B'Nar in protest for being held aboard."
-Plays on table. While in play, no cards may come out of either discard pile. (Immune to Kevin Uxbridge.)

-Plays on Earth OR Camping Trip. Each Youth present there with a parent (as indicated by either card's lore), score points and discard Event card. (Not cumulative.)

"Starfleet Academy and Starfleet Headquarters grounds feature decorative plantings of bamboo behind which many a cadet has overheard a thing or two."
-Plays on any planet location. Opponent may not initiate battle against your personnel on surface, and you may look at any opponent's personnel present. Nullified by Tricorder present.

I[17] Barclay Computer, Event
"When Reginald Barclay took control of the USS Enterprise through an iconic display console, he became, in essence, the ship's computer."
-Plays on your ship to give it CUNNING=15 and INTEGRITY=5. It discards any Cytherians it encounters (scoring points if seeded by opponent) and may relocate to end of any spaceline at start of any of your turns.

"Device used in a planet's atmosphere to remove air pollution on a large scale. A thousand baristatic filters were used on planet Tagra IV to clean the air."

During the game, when your personnel are involved in a personnel battle, you may take one personnel under Barros Inn (random selection) and relocate it to the site of that battle. (Immune to Kevin Uxbridge.)

-Plays on your ship. While in play, if MEDICAL or Sickbay present, protects your ship and crew from suffering from any dilemma causing quarantine or able to pass itself from one personnel onto another. You must still pass the dilemma's conditions.

"Highly sophisticated biotechnology used by Tieran and Vantika to effect a transfer of the subject's mind into a host person's brain."
-Plays on your Tieran OR any personnel affected by Vantika's Neural Pathways. When mortally wounded in personnel battle, you may steal personnel that mortally wounded it and play as your own with same classification as your personnel. Discard event and mortally wounded personnel.
